hunter's canal

The adductor canal is a muscular tunnel in the thigh. It commences at the inferior end of the femoral triangl  and terminates at the adductor hiatus

Contents
  • femoral artery and vein
  • saphenous nerve
  • nerve to vastus medialis
  • diagram showing posterior boundary, formed by adductor longus above and adductor magnus below
  • diagram shows that canal is overlapped by sartorius muscle.
